2. How to lay PVC floor leather in the room
1. Measurement
First, measure the structural dimensions of the room accurately; then cut the PVC floor leather according to the size. Note that the cutting width should be slightly larger than the required width to facilitate overlapping and trimming during paving. The cut PVC floor leather should be placed at room temperature not lower than 15°C for about 24 hours to allow the curling part of the PVC floor leather to fully expand and prepare for the final paving. Special adhesives are used to lay PVC floor leather.
2. Pretreatment
Before paving, the indoor floor should be treated first. The first step is to clean and remove oil stains or dust and sand; the second step is to level the floor. The raised areas should be scraped and leveled. The sunken areas can be made into a paste by mixing 107 glue and cement in a weight ratio of 1:2. Use a spatula to level the floor, and then use sandpaper to level it after it dries. After the floor is leveled, cleaned, and dried, you can apply glue and lay it. Applying glue is the last step before laying, and the tool should be a toothed scraper. When applying glue, apply glue on the floor according to the size of the PVC floor leather, and lay it one piece at a time in this order. There should be a 10 cm width at the joints of the leather without applying glue first, so as to deal with the joints in the end. When the glue applied on the floor feels sticky by hand, it can be laid. Pay attention to aligning the edge when pasting, and use a long-handled floor brush to drive out air and compact it.
